The Membership
The Pencil Ceramics Membership will help you to truly master the art of ceramics and elevate your ceramics skills - whether it be on the wheel or hand building. You have the chance to work independently in Ellen's fully equipped studio, surrounded by a supportive community of ceramic artists. With access to your own shelving, multiple wheels, clay, firing services and all glazes, it's the perfect opportunity to refine your skills and bring your creations to life.

Your individual projects
Ellen or Kayla are present during Open Studio Hours and happily help you with your individual projects - whether it be a vase, a tableware set, a coffee mug or any other desired ceramics item. However, this membership is not instructor-led, which is why it requires wheel experience or past attendance of the Beginners Course.
Open Studio Hours
All memberships include 12 hours of studio time per month (about 3 hours a week), giving you the freedom to visit during Open Studio Hours as it best fits your schedule. You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time, but it is thought to be a continuous course. Studio Opening Hours: TUE from 5 - 8pm WED from 5 - 8pm. Additional Studio Opening Hours are announced on a weekly basis.
Join our little Creative Sanctuary
We believe in creating a peaceful, high-vibration environment, enhanced with candlelight, soft music, a cozy lounge area, and complimentary coffee and tea for a warm, inspiring atmosphere. You are always welcome to pop into our little creative sanctuary to unwind and relax on our balcony overlooking Lions Head and Table Mountain.
