June Course | Wednesday | 10:00 – 12:30 | 3 Jun | 10 Jun | 17 Jun | 24 Jun Shape clay, find your flow. Join us for four Wednesday morning sessions where you'll learn the foundations of wheel throwing in a light-filled studio in Woodstock, Cape Town. What you'll learn: Wedging and preparing clay, centering on the wheel, pulling and opening, throwing functional forms (bowls, cups, cylinders), trimming them and creating footings, glazing your pieces, and finishing techniques. What's included: All materials, clay, and glaze, four of your finished pieces, tea, coffee, a certificate of completion, and a warm, supportive studio environment with a maximum of 8 participants. After your final session, we handle the rest and let the kiln gods do their magic. You can expect to collect your pieces within 1 to 6 weeks of the class.
